Review payroll variables and manage onboarding and offboarding processes
Ensure data consistency and resolve any discrepancies
Validate tax and social security declarations and liaise with external entities
Prepare activity and payroll reports
Respond to employee queries related to payroll and HR administration
Fluency in French and good level of English
Portuguese (considered a plus)
Strong knowledge of French labor law and payroll tools
Good Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas) – preferred
Team player with a strong sense of responsibility and confidentiality
Meal allowance: €11/day (card)

- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 hours/day (flexible between 07:00 and 17:00)
We are recruiting a Payroll Specialist to join a company operating in an industrial environment. Based in Portugal, you will be part of a team of 3 people and will be responsible for managing payroll for several entities in France, as well as supporting administrative back-office tasks.
Key responsibilities: Work closely with the Human Resources team in France
Ensure accurate and timely payroll processingReview payroll variables and manage onboarding and offboarding processes
Ensure data consistency and resolve any discrepancies
Validate tax and social security declarations and liaise with external entities
Prepare activity and payroll reports
Respond to employee queries related to payroll and HR administration
Contribute to continuous process improvement, including optimization and digitalization initiatives
Candidate profile: Higher education degree (preferred)
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in French payroll (mandatory)Fluency in French and good level of English
Portuguese (considered a plus)
Strong knowledge of French labor law and payroll tools
Good Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas) – preferred
Team player with a strong sense of responsibility and confidentiality
