We are recruiting an EHS Manager to join a large
- scale international project in the Azores, within the technological and industrial sector.
- Develop and implement the health and safety plan for the construction phase;
- Promote a proactive safety culture across the site;
- Ensure compliance with legal requirements, international standards, and client policies;
- Coordinate audits, inspections, and EHS performance reporting;
- Lead incident investigations, implement corrective measures, and monitor their execution;
- Support the Construction Director in fulfilling statutory safety responsibilities;
- Act as the EHS representative on site, ensuring alignment across all teams.
- Higher education in Safety, Engineering, or an equivalent area;
- NEBOSH certification (or similar) is mandatory;
- Minimum of 5 years experience in EHS roles within industrial construction projects;
- Knowledge of ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 standards;
- Strong communication, influencing, and negotiation skills in demanding environments;
- Fluency in English (other languages are an advantage).
