We are currently strengthening the team of one of our clients with the following profile: Senior Data Engineer – Hybrid (Lisbon) What we are looking for Hard skills

Proven experience as a Data Engineer, Data Modeler, or a similar role with a strong focus on data warehousing.
Deep expertise in Snowflake for data warehousing, including schema design, query optimization, and performance tuning.
Extensive hands-on experience with dbt (data build tool) for data transformation, version control, testing, and pipeline orchestration.
Solid understanding of data modeling principles (e.g., dimensional modeling, data vault) and practical experience in designing and implementing complex data models.
Proficiency in SQL for data manipulation, analysis, and complex query writing.
Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to have:

Experience with Power BI, with a strong emphasis on the backend aspects: o Developing complex Power BI datasets.

o DAX formula creation and optimization.

o Connecting to various data sources.
o Implementing row-level security (RLS).
o Optimizing Power BI data models for performance and scalability.

Prior experience with Qlik Sense, particularly understanding its data architecture and data loading mechanisms, to facilitate a smooth transition to Power BI.
Experience with data governance frameworks, metadata management, and data catalog tools.
