Our client is multinational company that operates worldwide in an Industrial manufacturing business.

Reporting to the Finance Director your main responsibilities will be:
Financial oversight of the site;
Support the Finance Director Spain for the below topics:
Financial planning such as budgets, strategic planning, forecasts and analysis;Financial reporting on a monthly, quarterly & yearly basis internally and externally;
Accounting (Accounts receivable and payable, Fixed Assets, General ledger);
Tax (VAT & corporate income tax, other tax obligations);
Statistics/KPIs;
Ensure the timely booking of invoices and accruals;
Supervision of internal and external audits;
Ensure SOX processes and documentation are implemented and followed;
Responsible for the charge-out process from Portugal to rest of EMEA;
Interaction with the company global Financial organisation;
Direct reporting line to the Finance Director of HT Spain.
Perfil ideal
The ideal candidate will have:
Minimum of 3-5 yrs work experience in similar roles
Proven track record of deep knowledge in accounting principles and solid understanding of financial regulations
Problem solving- and analytical abilities
Advanced MS Office and Excel skills
Microsoft 365 Business Central
Knowledge of US GAAP
Knowledge of HFM desirable
Social competence and cooperative skills
Structured way of working
Fluent in Portuguese and English
