Senior Python Developer

This project is part of the business investment banking and financial services area, and currently has its technological hub in Porto and is working on the development of innovative solutions and support for all operations related to the business.

We are looking for a Senior Python Developer to work in this project in Porto.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Data Science, or related IT field;
• Between 6 and 9 years of professional experience;
• 5+ years of advanced Python development experience;
• 3+ years of database development: PL/SQL;
• Proficiency with data processing libraries (Pandas, Polars, NumPy, SQLAlchemy);
• Experience with async programming and performance optimization;
• Knowledge of Python testing frameworks (pytest, unittest);
• 1+ years of hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP): BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Cloud Functions, Dataflow;
• Experience with Oracle DBMS;
• Experience with Complex stored procedures, functions, and packages;
• Experience with Performance tuning and query optimization;
• Understanding of ETL/ELT processes and data warehousing concepts;
• Experience with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD pipelines;
• Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes);
• English language: Professional working proficiency (B2/C1);
• French language is a plus.
