JOB DESCRIPTION: Airbus Atlantic Portugal is currently recruiting for its site in Santo Tirso - Porto.
The Production Scheduler will be responsible for coordinating the link between the manufacturing units/stations and the supply and demand population or other manufacturing unit, by ensuring and coordinating the deliveries until the part is available in stock and act as an ‘’interface & animator’’ between manufacturing customers, quality, physical logistics, ordering population within the site and between AIRBUS sites.
MAIN TASKS AND MISSION:- Analyze and launch necessary action to ensure ODD compliant with aircraft planning and manage priorities;
- Prepare and lead the Weekly Master Production meetings involving all the stakeholders: obtain the commitments and challenge attendees not to postpone the planning every time. Validate and officialize short term planning;
- Collaborate with Airbus customer site to align delay with production needs;
- Attend daily Production monitoring meeting: Report on production progress & parts availability. Give support to adjust daily priorities;
- Management of Work Order: WO from releasing to closing, Pull flow - Management of Components including missing parts and logistic distribution with Ordering officer support;
- Update SAP: control and update item parameters to ensure data effectiveness in the Information Systems.
- Academic background in Industrial Engineering, Management or similar;
- Solid experience in similar functions (>5 years) – Industry sector background will be valued;
- Production flow on industrial environment;
- Scheduling knowledge & Finite Capacity planning;
- MRP Knowledge: material Requirement/Resource Planning;
- Strong time management and prioritization skills;
- Have a hands-on approach with the ability to think strategically;
- Rigorous, organized and pro-active;
- Working in multi-functional team (sometimes in stressed environment);
- Expertise with MS Office package and SAP system knowledge;
- Fluent in English (written and spoken); French is a plus.
