Descrição We are seeking a Network Senior Consultant to join a world

class team within a Global Engineering Center of Excellence (TEE).

This role is based in Portugal, but focuses on strategic international projects.

It requires availability for frequent short-term travel to global locations such as Saudi Arabia, Germany, Switzerland, Angola, and Spain, among others.

This is a premier opportunity to lead complex network transformations on a global scale.

To identify, analyze, and resolve intricate issues within network infrastructures to restore optimal functionality;
To detect and respond promptly to network incidents, failures, and performance degradation;
To maintain and update robust network security measures to protect against unauthorized access and threats;
To conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments to ensure industry compliance;
To manage network configurations, including IP addresses, subnets, routing tables, and firewall rules;
To analyze network traffic patterns and performance metrics to implement optimization strategies;
To apply firmware and software updates to systems to enhance stability and security;
To collaborate closely with system administrators and cybersecurity experts to resolve cross-functional issues;
To utilize scripting and automation tools to optimize network operations;
To create and maintain comprehensive network documentation, diagrams, and operational procedures;
To interface with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored technical solutions.

Requisitos

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related Engineering field;
Over 2 years of experience in network administration or related infrastructure areas;
Fluency in English (written and spoken) is mandatory;
Good knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, BGP, OSPF) and hardware (routers, switches, firewalls);
Knowledge of VPNs, EDR, and network monitoring/diagnostic tools;
Preference for Cisco CCNA, Juniper JNCIA, Checkpoint CCSA, or Fortinet FCP;
Strong analytical abilities and the capacity to work under pressure during emergency situations;
Willingness and full availability to travel internationally on short notice.
