Senior Data Engineer Hybrid (2x/week) in Alfragide Hybrid model 2 days/week on

-site | AWS, Kafka, Terraform, Python Were looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join a highly technical and collaborative team working on a long-term project in the aviation sector, with strong emphasis on cloud infrastructure, data streaming, and automation.

• Designing and implementing scalable, secure data solutions on AWS
• Working with Kafka and stream processing technologies to handle real-time data pipelines
• Automating infrastructure delivery with Terraform and GitHub Actions
• Writing robust, clean code in Python for data manipulation and automation
• Collaborating closely with Data Engineers, QA testers, Product Owners, and Central DevOps teams
• Managing code repositories and contributing to CI/CD best practices What were looking for
• 810 years of experience in data engineering or a related field
• Deep expertise in AWS services, including Lambda, S3, Glue, VPC, EC2, SNS, API Gateway, SQS, ECS, KMS, MSK, RDS, ATHENA, IAM, Transfer Family, CloudWatch
• Proven experience with Kafka and stream processing
• Proficiency with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) best practices
• Advanced Python skills for scripting and automation tasks
• Experience with GitHub Actions or similar tools for version control and CI/CD
