Join our close-knit team where your skills and creativity will have a direct impact on our success. As the cornerstone of our kitchen operations, you'll work closely with our director and owners while managing daily kitchen activities and serving as our primary cook.
This role offers both independence and responsibility – you'll be the culinary expert in charge of our kitchen operations, ensuring consistent quality in food preparation while implementing our menu. In this versatile role, your primary focus will be to independently manage our kitchen operations while serving as our primary cook.
Cook’s Responsibilities: Morning prep work (cutting vegetables, preparing ingredients)
Sets up kitchen station and equipmentPrepares all food orders (sandwiches, snacks, light meals)
Maintains food safety and proper storage
Manages kitchen inventory
Keeps kitchen clean throughout shift
Places food orders with suppliers
Closes kitchen and stores ingredients properly
Secondary Responsibilities:Teamwork remains essential for success. For smooth operation, front-of-house and kitchen staff must maintain clear communication about orders and timing, while supporting each other during peak periods.
This collaborative approach extends to coordinating cleaning and restocking duties, sharing updates about inventory requirements, and keeping everyone informed about customer feedback and preferences. Each team member's ability to work harmoniously with others ensures efficient service and customer satisfaction.

Applicant RequirementsLanguages: English required, Portuguese a bonus
Experience in food preparation and cooking requiredAbility to work independently and manage multiple tasks
Good planning, organizational and time management skills
Task and deadlines orientated, proactive, self-motivated and dynamic
Good communication and personal skills; team player
Comfortable with math and math skills for inventory and cost control
Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 kg
Experience with inventory management and ordering a plus
Education RequirementsHigh School Diploma or equivalent
Additional education in culinary course a plus
