We are currently strengthening the team of one of our clients with the following profile: Java Developer/Support Application Developer – Hybrid (Porto) What we are looking for Hard skills

Academic background in either Computer Science (or similar IT degree), Economics or Finance
Passion and experience in 3rd line IT Support role related tasks
Excellent debugging and problem-solving capability, efficient multi-tasking in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment
Empathy and ownership of customer issues
Strong interpersonal, relationship, management, and communication skills
Ability to promote process improvement
Proven experience in PL/SQL and SQL programming languages.
Understanding in object-oriented languages
Familiarity with basic Financial concepts
Proficient in English.

Nice-to-have:

Experience with Oracle; IQ; ASE; Hive database
Experience with VBA; SQL Workbench; GitLab, Control-M, BitBucket; CFT; Jenkins; Kakfa; Big Data; Unix
Familiarity with Jira / Confluence
Knowledge of French.
